Q: Will there be experienced medical staff on hand 24 hours a day? How do I alert them if I need help? Will there be someone to assist me with 'smaller', essential daily tasks?

A: Yes, absolutely! Expert medical staff is available at the press of a button. All you have to do is activate the emergency call button next to your bed or in the shower for immediate help 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And whether you need someone to change a light bulb or post a letter, there will always be someone to assist you with every one of life’s daily tasks.

Q: Is it possible (and necessary) to have a private TELKOM connection?

A: The recently installed fibre network provides for various new technology options. The internal communication system (PABX) still makes allowance for free internal calls to other residents, access control, the nurse station, etc. External calls (local, national, international and fax facilities) is still available.

A: The Stellenbosch Library offers a full library service every second Thursday.

Q: Will residents of Bonheur be able to use the facilities and participate in the social activities available at la Clémence?

A: Bonheur residents are warmly welcomed as members of the broader la Clémence community. As is the case with every resident, participation in activities and the use of facilities is subject to the la Clémence regulations. In fact, Bonheur residents may find that a social whirlwind awaits, with double invitations – for both Bonheur and la Clémence activities – the order of the day!
